What strategies are you deploying to establish a positive work-from-home environment?

Having worked from home almost entirely since 1974, I developed a routine and environment that works well for my business partner (my wife) and I. 

1. Always have a defined, private work area with all the various tools needed for your productivity (computer, printer, network and WIFI, etc.)
2. Spend time each morning setting your intentions for the day (it is ok, if they are general -- i.e., I intend to be productive, to have fun, to uplift others, etc.)
3. As the day unfolds you can take a couple of minutes to set the tone for the next project or segment of time (i.e., the next phone call, the next appointment, the next research project, etc.) At this point you can be more specific, but make sure you are positive, happy and solution-oriented.)

Interruptions, distractions and chaos are more like to happen (especially in the home) unless you've taken those few minutes to set up your day (or your next activity) by "intending" it to be successful, satisfying, uplifting and great fun!
